Produce and Farms

I absolutely love the local seasonal produce offerings here. Living somewhere cold and snowy makes you think that there would not be much to offer in the produce department. Oh-contrar I have had some of the best produce here. Yes we are a little more excited potentially when tomatoes and cucumbers become available, but it stretches you to think outside the box and appreciate locally grown produce. I know we can all go to Costco and get out of season produce but there is nothing like supporting your local farmer, ethically and for exceptional flavor/nutritional content.
